Ultraformer Treatment (Non-Invasive, Non-Down Time)

What is ultraformer treatment?

Ultraformer therapy is a face and neck lifting treatment that is completely non-invasive and requires no down time. It involves the use of high Intensity focused ultrasound energy (HIFU) to lift and tighten the skin.

How can this procedure help?

Ultraformer treatment helps decrease or eliminate wrinkles and fine lines, pronounced lines of facial expression and neck folds. It can help you achieve a defined and graceful jawline. Skin laxity in other parts of the body such as the arms, abdomen and above the knees may be treated as well.

How does the treatment work?

During the procedure, high intensity focused ultrasound energy is delivered to the layers of the skin where heat is produced in a controlled manner. This results in contraction or tightening of the skin and the production of collagen, which helps replenish the skin.

How long does the procedure take?

This depends on the amount of skin lifting and tightening you require. A single session covering the face and neck usually takes about 45-60 minutes. 

How many treatments are needed?

Dramatic results can be achieved with just a single Ultraformer treatment. Your doctor may recommend a repeat treatment in 3-6 months followed by yearly touch-up treatments for better and more lasting results.

Are there any side ef­fects?

Ultraformer treatment is clinically proven to be safe and effective providing gradual rejuvenation. Initially you may notice some redness, swelling, tingling or loss of sensation but these usually disappear in a few hours. Some patients may experience prolonged bruising or tingling on occasion but these symptoms gradually resolve on their own without treatment.
